Lava lamp care & feeding
Well, now I know that you’re not supposed to move or shake a warm lava lamp, and what happens if you do because you have to get it home and it’s been running throughout the USENIX Game Show and hasn’t had enough time to cool down.
Quoth the FAQ:
Do not move or shake your LAVA® brand motion lamp while the LAVA® blobs are “WARM.” This will cause your LAVA® brand motion lamp to become cloudy and permanently malfunction!
Sigh. Anyone needing a cloudy Google-logo lava lamp, let me know.
