Boskone
Just got back from Boskone. I made it to several panels and a bid party (the Nippon in 2007 bid), did some gaming, worked my way through the hucksters’ room without taking too much damage to the wallet, and had a great time.
One of the best panels was Friday’s “Bloggers of the Fanosphere” which among other things revealed to all present (including Teresa Nielsen Hayden, who was very surprised) that the top Google hit for a search for “Teresa” is Making Light. Yes, ahead of Mother Teresa.
Other bloggers on the panel included Mary Kay Kare, Kathryn Cramer, and the moderator Leslie Turek. There was even a helpful handout of interesting SF or fannish blogs; just what I needed, a longer blogroll. At least the panel inspired me to update DAG again after the hiatus had started threatening permanence.
More panels, notes from gaming, and the like later.

It was coming in ahead of St. Teresa of Avila that astonished me. A quick check on Google confirms this strange report; also that the #2 Teresa is T. Wentzler, designer of embroidery kits, followed by Mother Teresa of India, followed by St. Teresa of Avila. I look forward to the day that Kerry becomes President and his wife takes over top billing.
